The
creation of an Online Truth Commission for victims of human rights
violations in Guatemala during that country's long civil war has earned
Danish radio journalist Lotte Holmen the prestigious European Online
Journalism Award for "Best Innovation".

Lotte Holmen, director of the Para Nunca Olvidar site,
is a 20-year veteran of making
radio documentaries. Para Nunca Olvidar is a production entirely of
her own creation. She did a forerunner project in El Salvador in 1997.
Those programs are broadcasted every year (on Peace Day) and are publicly
available in el Museo de la Palabra (the Museum of the Word) in San Salvador.
Para Nunca Olvidar.org today published an Educational
site
Para Nunca Olvidar.org has published Jørn Bie's collection of
drawings from Guatemala. They have formerly been used as illustrations
in Amnesty International reports at the Gallery.
